Skiing / Snowboarding
Undoubtedly Soelden is the centre of the entire valley especially in winter. The huge ski resort with more than 150 slopes offers great diversity. Thanks to numerous après ski bars and ski huts party after skiing is guaranteed. The glacier provides ski fun not only in winter.
Winter Hiking / Snowshoe Hiking
There are 40 kilometres of prepared tracks for winter hiking. On your walks through Oetztal's nature you'll admire magical ice formations and treetops covered with snow - this will guide you during your hike in the Oetztal. Enjoy its beauty at night also, when some of the tracks are illuminated.
The Oetztal inspires uncountable cross-country skiers. More than 50 prepared cross-country ski runs and a fascinating scenery provide fun and a paradise for all athletes (awarded with the Tyrolean seal of approval)
Tobogganing evenings are a great oportuity to finish exhausting ski days. Innumerable huts and refuges offer illuminated sledging runs.
